That one hour...!!

Amidst all the cacophony of the city they both sat staring into each other's eyes, unaware of the stares they were getting from the people. Sharing a joint near the river court had become a ritual. They just sat there thinking about everything and nothing. Just the two broken souls searching for their identities, talking about the pressure of the high expectations. But everything forgotten in that one hour somewhere in the smoke.

Hazy. Happy. High.
That's what they both felt.  

As the joint ended they both took a long sigh and looked at each other longingly. 

The spark was still there. The fire was still felt. The chemistry was still present. 

But the decision was already taken. She was engaged and he was flying abroad for higher studies. 

And thus they both left with a heavy heart waiting for then next day to meet again.
